Lynx Africa, an iconic British brand, was 25 years old. So they asked us to come up with a big campaign to celebrate. The tricky thing though was making the past relevant to teenage guys now, not their dads. Our insight was that Gen Z are mad about all things retro. So, we went back in time to create our big idea, Hot Since ‘95. We built a psychedelic time tunnel taking us from Lynx Africa’s legendary birth in 1995, to the modern day. Did it work? A million cans were sold in the first month alone. And it became the most successful Lynx campaign of the decade. Oh, and it won a Webby and a DMA Gold.
